BIGTOP Circus Saturdays

Red Bennies is one of the few functioning arts clubs in the world that has aerial rigging for trapeze, lyra, silks and other aerial apparatus, making it a haven for professional circus artists in which to perform. The venue's regular Saturday night south side show, BIGTOP Circus Saturdays attracts feature artists from around Australia  and the globe. Red Bennies stage has the range of other circus performance regularly including contortion, magic, acrobatics and fire / pyro artists.

The venue hosts resident vaudeville artists who have performed as part of The Spiegel Tent, Cirque Du Soleil, La Clique, Circus Oz and many of the other great circus production companies. The venue provides large portions of programming for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Midsumma Queer Arts Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival.
