The Jupiters are a 9-piece Original Groove

Collective with a strong party vibe. Formed in 2009, the band consists of a male vocalist, 3-piece horn section and rhythm section (including drums, bass, keyboard and guitar); all of whom are studying music at the faculties of VCA and Melbourne University.  Their sound combines elements of funk, soul and hip hop; with original songs drawing influences from the likes of D’Angelo, Earth Wind and Fire and Jamiroquai. Having headlined at many prominent venues around Melbourne, such as Federation Square and the Corner Hotel, their shows deliver a delicate balance of ecstatic highs and mellow lows that is guaranteed to get you moving.
