At the last Single Men's Drinking Club gig the violin player fell on the singer, the singer fell on the drum kit and the drummer had a 2 mm cut on his pinky that required a WHOLE BAND AID. Two members of the audience were taken away with a serious case of PROPER LIVE MUSIC FEVER with one man in a rocking coma who looks to be stuck in delirious rock heaven forever! Our condolences go out to his family.

For the rest of you who yearn for a real man's man's band (is that how you say it?) Single Men's Drinking Club will blow you away. These veteran rockers play live music how it should be played, hard, with full intent and no care for their own or their band mates safety as they smash out amazing song after song falling/lunging rocking their way across the stage. With songs that throw you through narratives of sex, drugs, violence and rock n roll the Single Men's Drinking Club are everything you could ask for in a live band.

So if you like any of the above (then you're awesome) then you won't miss these guys as they are one of the premiere live bands in Melbourne. A band so gritty that until now have only lurked in the darker corners of Melbourne's dirtiest and hardiest gig venues.
