A veteran stuntman of TV and Film in Japan and ninja fanatic Taka has performed his art the world over. Renowned for his highflying ‘Fire High Dive’ stunt performed in Water World Japan, Taka now has recently made Melbourne his home, further his training at the National Institute for Circus Arts Australia.

Ikuko Tanikawa
With a  career spanning from TV Aerobics instructor in Japan through to Yoga, Fitness instructor and trapeze artist the would over, Ikko has firmly planted herself as one of Melbourne’s premier emerging aerial tissue performers. A regular to Red Bennies she will take to the Sky in a traditional Japanese Kimono as park of the Ninja Dance Squad.

Anna Lumb

Red Bennies catches Anna before she zips off on a whirlwind tour of Europe. She performs a dazzling Trapeze act that has the audience whooping and cheering. Dancing With Myself is a beautiful cabaret act in ruby red pointe shoes. Anna dances and balances in pointes on the trapeze to a beguiling soundtrack. It’s highly entertaining, humorous and slightly cheeky.

Swing Patrol

Swing Patrol has four performance troupes: Harlem Shout and Brat Pack (Swing), The Foxy Follies (cabaret) and Tap Pack (Tap dance). Make sure you’re down at Bennies to catch one of these troupes astound you with their amazing world class dancing styles. They have brought  a joyful style of swing dance classes to new people thus creating the wider Melbourne swing scene.

VESPER WHITE
As a young pioneer in the creative arts, Vesper White has laid siege to hearts and minds all around Australia for the past two years. Her creative talents have led her on adventures to a myriad of stages, festivals, parties and galleries. Best loved for her darkly alluring burlesque acts, Vesper has no fear in exploring everything from the traditional and historical, to the alternative, the weird, the horrifying and that based in fetish.

Knave Knixx

Knave Knixx is fresh to Melbourne and is the one stop shop for all that is entertainment and is no stranger to the stage, having performed in various guises across Australia and homeland New Zealand.
 
As an MC he's hosted numerous Burlesque and Caberet shows and has been known to do "Boylesque" routines of his own!
 
As a DJ he specialises in Surf, 50's Rock N Roll, Jazz/Swing/Soul and Exoctica tunes, which currently sees him as resident Friday night DJ at The Burlesque Bar in Melbourne.
 
He's recently wrapped up a 5 year primetime radio show on Radio Active 89FM in Wellington NZ, Performed around Australia and NZ at various venues, events and festivals and has DJ'd alongside the likes off : The Kills, Peaches, Battles, The Black Seeds, The Breeders, Reguritator, Trans Am, The MC5, The Datsuns, Shihad, Holly Golightly, Le Tigra and Bonnie Prince Billy to name a few.
