With more sparkle than Kylie, and costumes that could shame Lady Gaga, “second generation carni” Mark Winmill is rapidly making a name for himself worldwide.
Mark Winmill is an iconic Australian circus, burlesque and visual theatre performer with a serious panache for aerials, drag, hula-hoops, physical theatre and spectacle with a fresh, raw and savvy edge. Born from the gene pool of old school circus and vaudeville Mark has followed in the foot steps of his acrobat clown and rizzly flyer father. Mark Winmill cleverly marries and collides the different worlds of performance in a robust explosion on stage.
Mark Winmill is the 2011 reigning King of Burlesque as crowned in Las Vegas at the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame, which sees the cream of the international burlesque crop collide in a weekend of celebrating the tradition, the fore-mothers, pageantry and the art of tease that is Burlesque.
Mark is also a co-creator, performer and collaborator in the all male, all vaudeville, all trash, circus-burlesque production BRIEFS which has just completed it’s first international tour to five star reviews and much acclaim. Briefs has previously toured extensively throughout Australia having performed seasons to packed out audiences and spreading the raucous laughter to theatres and festivals including the Sydney Opera House, The Famous Spiegeltent – Melbourne Arts Centre, Adelaide Fringe and Feast Festivals, Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane Festival, Gold Coast Fringe, commissioned work by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Mark also keeps himself diverse and busy as a company member of renowned Brisbane based performance ensemble Polytoxic, who are a company in residence at the Brisbane Powerhouse. They are studio artists with Queensland Theatre Company who have an impressive performance history of independent and professional work spanning international and national coverage.
Mark has featured in various high profile affairs including BBC Television, featured in various productions and cabarets including Comic Strip, Late nite lounge, Feasting Flesh, Dance Trax at the Sydney Opera House, Gangsters Ball, Australian Burlesque Festival and La Clique.
Mark is set to tour with the infamous Dita Von Tease in 2012.
FEZ FAANANA - aka SHIVANNAH

Shivannah is a fiercely funny and courageously clever persona that has developed since 2000 starting in the guts of Brisbane’s independent performance scene and having featured and hosted at various theatre, cabaret and comedy productions throughout Australia from the Sydney Opera House Studios to the back alleys of Brisbane’s West End industrial precinct. 2011 saw Shivannah swagger onto the UK club and cabaret scene to raucous and gob smacked applause.
Fez aka Shivannah is the smart ass behind the riotous and much lionized production BRIEFS. He-She is the host and MC, choreographer, creative producer, performer, collaborator and co-creator along with the cast of the all male, all vaudeville and all trash production.
Briefs has just returned from its first international tour with a sell-out and 5 star run in the UK. Briefs won Best Circus Production and the Circus Oz Award (awarded to Natano Faanana) while Fez was awarded with the Independent Producer Award at the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Briefs continues to run independent productions throughout Australia as well as frequenting national festivals and theatres.
Fez aka Shivannah has featured in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Up Front all female line up as well as a commissioned street show, Misbehaving at Midnight at the Speigeltent, the Gangsters Ball National Tour 2009/10, Red Door Burlesque, Ali Macgregor’s variety cabaret, Dance Trax Opera House Studio, Adelaide Fringe, Edmonton International Street Performers, WA and Tasmanian Circus, Gold Coast Fringe, Woodford Folk and Brisbane Festivals.
Fez Faanana is an independent artist, performer, choreographer, arts worker, host/MC and an independent producer. His experience to date has seen him create accessible, groundbreaking, risqué and contemporary performance that references his Pacific bloodline, awareness, gender juggling and spectacle. As co-founder, co-director and performer of Polytoxic Dance Theatre and as an independent performer and collaborator, Fez has spearheaded dance, theatre, physical theatre, burlesque, drag & comedy since 1999.
Fez has toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally through Canada, the South Pacific and the USA. He has featured in various cabarets, collaborations and commissioned works as part of Melbourne Comedy Festival, Sydney Biennale, Sydney Festival, Brisbane Cabaret Festival and the Sydney Opera House Studio Program. He has also produced, programmed, choreographed and performed work for Brisbane Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, and Adelaide Feast Festival as well as the Brisbane Powerhouse.
Fez has developed a performance style and movement vocabulary with strong influences from Pacific history, contemporary dance, gender politics, the physicality of circus, pop parody, hip-hop and theatrical cabaret. This can be attributed to his animated Australian Samoan up-bringing in the good ol’ Aussie town of Ipswich.
As an independent producer Fez co created the Common People Dance Project (CPDP) with Neridah Waters in 2009. The CPDP is a large-scale community dance project likened to the flash mob phenomenon. CPDP has been delivered and performed throughout Australia including Tasmania, Brisbane, Adelaide, Western Australia and remote communities in central Queensland and far north Queensland.. 2010 saw CDPD tour to Canada for the Edmonton International Street Festival.
As an ambassador for pacific and indigenous cultures Fez’s work extends into community cultural development sector working with diverse communities within Australia and the Pacific. His work in this capacity has seen him choreograph, direct and creatively consult on large community theatre projects, music and dance programs and facilitate community engagement projects.

Anthony De Masi is one of Melbourne’s new breed of comedy Magicians. Young, innovative & interactive magic for a modern audience.
He has been weaving his magic for 10 years performing at major events in Melbourne including the Australian Opens, Melbourne Grand Prix & AFL Grand finals. Every year he works for hundreds of corporate Companies at corporate dinners, trade shows & awards nights.

Daniel Gorski is a dynamic circus artist who has been performing since 1998.
His performing ranges from festival, cabaret, community events and ensemble theatre. Daniel Boasts 2 diplomas in circus arts from New Zealand’s international circus school “CircoArts” and the prestigious Melbourne based circus school NICA (National institute of Circus Arts). In 2004 Daniel’s attention was focused on the delightfully old vaudeville routines including the gentleman juggling skill of Hat and Cigar and the fast paced juggling chef routine “Happy Cooks”, which he now specialises in today.
Daniel's love of juggling, manipulation of ordinary objects, and slapstick comedy has made him an excellent performer. His high calibre of performance has taken Daniel international across Asia, America, Europe, and Australasia.
