Melbourne’s tapestry of diverse live music is looking a whole lot richer with the arrival of young soulsters Electric Empire.And while they may be new to some, this Melbourne band is no stranger to the Australian music scene. One look at their MySpace calendar will show you they’re never short of a gig, performing weekly at some of Melbourne’s best circuit venues such as The Toff in Town, The Espy, Veludo’s and the Cornish Arms, as well as being selected for one of the summer’s best music festivals, Hot BBQ, and hand-picked to perform at Baz Lurmann’s Christmas Party last year.
