FANTASTIC MR FOX (3 HOUR SET)

Red Bennie's Thursday night resident  Mr Fox returns home from over one month abroad at the Red Bull Music Academy in the UK.

Utilizing classic soul and jazz, low-slung bass lines and programming that is diametrically opposed to pushing tempos faster, Fox likes to add a raw, rough human element to dance music. A love for vinyl brings a much needed tactile element into his DJ sets, which span jazz, funk, disco edits, beats, and all kinds of house music. Equally at home in bars and clubs, playing early or late, his broad knowledge and love for the origins of electronic music comes through in a varied approach to programming sets. For all lovers of music Mr Fox is the guilty pleasure you won't need a box of tissues for.

STEPHANIE WILLS
Stephie has a background in both classical dance and calisthenics, performing on stage for the first time at age two.
 She is currently attending her final year The National Institute of Circus Arts specializing in aerial hoop, contortion handstands and adagio with her brother.
 Discovering at a young age that she is hyper flexible in every joint in her body, a natural contortionist it is little wonder that she found her passion in circus.
 Her act is a sensual fast spinning double point aerial hoop routine.
This Aerial Angel flies through the air with graceful balletic movements twisting and bending her body in and around the hoop high above the audience.

SKYE GELLMANN
Skye Gellman is one of the worlds best balance specialists. He has won countless awards and toured the world with his sell out show Scattered Tacks.

He is daring performer as he fearlessly creates different constructions from wood and steel cylinders A single misjudgement of equilibrium and the towers could come crashing down to the ground. He is well known for his impressive rolling five high balance. His act will leave any audience on the edge of their seats as he attempts the impossible

DJ PREQUEL

DJ Prequel started his love for DJing at age 15. Since then he has been active on the Melbourne club circuit as well as international supports including People Under The Stairs, De La Soul and Ugly Duckling. In 2009 Prequel travelled the country on the Big Day Out tour with Paris Wells  performing in Sydney, Perth, The Goldcoast and Melbourne as well as Melbournes St Kilda Festival and Big Right Hook Festivals. 2010 is proving to be a big year for Prequel playing the support for Method Man & Red Man and Hot BBQ. Prequel is a keen crate digger with an ear for Rare Groove, Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop and everything in between. Expect to hear him bring the party with his ever growing record collection at Red Bennies.

EDD FISHER

Edd Fisher began his professional music career at age 15 as a trumpet player. Before moving to Perth to study Jazz and composition (BA) at WAAPA Edd completed a Monash University music enhancement course and was active on the Melbourne music scene in various groups from Big Bands, small Jazz Ensembles, Cover Bands and an original funk/hip-hop outfit named Debt Collector.

Now venturing into production and DJ'ing Edd has just returned to Melbourne from Cuba where he studied the traditional rhythmic culture and LA where he spent one month doing an internship with the Concord Music Group.

Edd's role on the Red Bennies creative team as entertainment manager/band booker will be complimented by his DJ sets which will span his broad music tastes from Jazz to future sounds.
