Simon Wright (yep that right not wrong). He is our class clown and we think about expelling him and actually sending him to clown college or China to get beat with a bamboo pole. He specializes in unicycle, ladder with bowl kicking and juggling on the side. He is also learning risley and looks forward to kicking a girls ass everyday! Simon is doing his school boy diablo act.
Jing-Yun Wong and Ikko Tanikawa.
Jing-Yun Wong and Ikuko Tanikawa both train at NICA and have performed together in hip hop and aerials. They also recently performed at the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Their backgrounds include a collective mix of gymnastics, dance, circus, martial arts, rock climbing, yoga, and music. Together, they intend to bring the two worlds of circus and dance to people of all ages!
Dion del Pino.
Dion del Pino, a Perth boy, 21 years of age, has been training and performing aerials since 2006. Dion is currently in his first year at NICA specializing in verticals and adagio. Dion has performed in various shows around Perth, and most recently in Melbourne on verticals in NICA's ?inding Your Feet,a first-year showcase, and as a roving plate-spinner in Carnival Distorian: A Costume Emporium.
Benji Dutaillis and Bryon Talaga are Bsquared!
Bsquared is made up of the Aussie country boy Benji Dutaillis and the exotic American Bryan Talaga. They are the performing duo for the facebook generation!! They are acrobatic, juggling, hand standing, partner lifting, unicycling circus freaks who will entertain you in every way possible. They will overload your sense's with awesome!
Brittany Nicole is a New York native with a heart for the curious, the whimsical, the quirky, and the adventurous. She has over 19 years of dance, cheerleading, theater, martial arts, aerial, and general circus training. Learning and training at STREB Lab for Action Mechanics (SLAM) in Brooklyn, NY and most recently at the elite National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) has given Brittay a wide range of skills and a distinct performance style. She has performed all over Long Island and Manhattan, and now in various shows around Melbourne!
After a childhood filled with dancing and gymnastics, Jessica Connell, 19 years, joined the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in 2005. She performed with them for five years, performing in many shows around Australia. Jessica won the 2007 ?pplausebusking festival award for best act under 18, and has become a specialist in aerials and hula hoops. She was the 2009 Wodonga Youth Performer of the year and the 2009 SS&A talent contest winner. After completing her VCE Jessica auditioned and was accepted into the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne a full time course where she is learning swinging Trapeze, Chinese Pole and Risley.

This is an event created to help NICA students raise money to cover the cost of their Circus trip to Tasmania in early 2011.
