Exposé is a new circus event developed by Red Bennies, to create a platform for rising performers to test out acts in front of a live audience, and in a professional environment.

It is run out of the fastest growing circus performance hotspot in town!

We are showcasing acrobats, dancers, jugglers, hula-hoopers, aerialists, contortionists, comedians and MCs, with new and innovative work!

The event on May 22^nd will feature:

MC’s Chris Carlos and Jamie Bretman

Chris is a fire spinner turned circus entertainer, while Jamie is a male escort turned circus extraordinaire!

Sam Aldham – Aerial Rope

Started as Flying Trapeze performer and instructor, in club med, worked through Asia, working with Flying Trapeze Australia for five years performing, and teaching, joined NICA last year, training in comedy acrobatics and rope.

Thomas Gorham – Handstands & Breakdance

Thomas has been breakdancing since the age of 16 and started training circus at the National institute of circus arts in 2009. He studies handbalance as a main specialty and wants to provide a fresh mix of traditional handbalancing and breakdance tricks to create a new style.

Tom Swords , “Raven” – Fan Dance: Drag Burlesque

Tom comes from a dance and acrobatic background. Started playing with fans at the end of last year to look for any excuse to show off what he can do. He breaks his way into the burlesque scene with a twisted take on burlesque and drag. Raven (his burlesque character) was created for a show he did called “Bathtub Gin”.

“Little Foot Big Foot”  (Ollie Versteegen, Stephanie Lewis) -  Human Foot Juggling/Risley

This Duo has been working together for nearly three years, on the amazing art of human foot juggling. Ollie will lie on his back, as he flips Stephanie into the air with his feet! Watch this marvelous display of skill and gravity-defying stunts with awe!

Robyn Glowacki – Aerial Hoop

Coming from an extensive dance and pole background, Robyn’s movements are both beautifully poised, and physically powerful. She contorts and stretches her legs in beautiful shapes on the spinning aerial hoop.
