DALLAS DELLAFORCEWith a strong focus drawn from the details and styles of fashion history and popular culture, traditional drag and burlesque performance, Dallas has become a cross cultural identity transcending more than the entertainment genres that provided his initial outlet. Playing primarily with gender Dallas's performances infamous for their innovative and edgy style, ranging from dark or comedic to dreamy and etherial.
A performer who's shows have been highlights of such high profile events as Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, Sleaze ball, Inquisition, the Diva Awards, Tropical Fruits and Queer Nation parties to underground/fringe events such as Misfits, Kooky, Man Jam, Kinky Kingdom, Hard On, Edge City, Velvet Hammer, Monster Gras and Hot Rod. At various points he has also worked in every well reputed gay venue In Sydney.
He has performed many times at the Sydney Opera House for events such as DRAG at the opera house, The Late Night Lounge and Club Kooky not to mention The Jurassic Lounge, The Adelaide Cabaret Festival, The World famous Spiegletent and collaborations with the Paciti company for performance space.
This artist is extensively known for his striking looks and outrageous costumes, as a result has starred in many an advertising campaign for events such as Mardi Gras, Sleaze, The Diva Awards as well as opening and closing for shows at fashion week.
Dallas is also a multiple award winner and is widely respected for his abilities in makeup artistry, costume and fashion design as well as styling.
Dallas has performed for and alongside the likes of Cindy Lauper, Tex Perkins, Justin Bond, Dirty Martini, Todd McKenny, Jenny Morris and David Campbell. He has also been billed for such international nights as Mr Black and VANDAM.
Mark Winmill is an iconic Australian circus, burlesque and visual theatre performer with a serious panache for aerials, drag, hula-hoops, physical theatre and spectacle with a fresh, raw and savvy edge. Born from the gene pool of old school circus and vaudeville Mark has followed in the foot steps of his acrobat clown and rizzly flyer father. Mark Winmill cleverly marries and collides the different worlds of performance in a robust explosion on stage.
Mark Winmill is the 2011 reigning King of Burlesque as crowned in Las Vegas at the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame, which sees the cream of the international burlesque crop collide in a weekend of celebrating the tradition, the fore-mothers, pageantry and the art of tease that is Burlesque.
Mark is also a co-creator, performer and collaborator in the all male, all vaudeville, all trash, circus-burlesque production BRIEFS which has just completed it’s first international tour to five star reviews and much acclaim. Briefs has previously toured extensively throughout Australia having performed seasons to packed out audiences and spreading the raucous laughter to theatres and festivals including the Sydney Opera House, The Famous Spiegeltent – Melbourne Arts Centre, Adelaide Fringe and Feast Festivals, Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane Festival, Gold Coast Fringe, commissioned work by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Mark also keeps himself diverse and busy as a company member of renowned Brisbane based performance ensemble Polytoxic, who are a company in residence at the Brisbane Powerhouse. They are studio artists with Queensland Theatre Company who have an impressive performance history of independent and professional work spanning international and national coverage.
Mark has featured in various high profile affairs including BBC Television, featured in various productions and cabarets including Comic Strip, Late nite lounge, Feasting Flesh, Dance Trax at the Sydney Opera House, Gangsters Ball, Australian Burlesque Festival and La Clique.
Mark is set to tour with the infamous Dita Von Tease in 2012.
DJ PHILLIP MEZZATESTAHis performances are original, unpredictable and always a fun experience, with that extra special unique ‘Philvester’ magic that takes you on a unique journey. The frenetic Philvester demonstrates his amazing talent behind the decks, showcasing flamboyance and charisma through song and dance – anything from funk, soul and lounge through to house, progressive, trance.
His career highlight include Daylesford’s Chillout festival, Sydney Sleaze Ball, and more recently abroad, headlining Folsom St Fair’s REAL BAD party & GO BANG in the heart of downtown San Francisco.
FRANKIE VALENTINE
Nobody wears lipstick like Frankie... Burlesque performer, designer and original femme fatale, Frankie Valentine, sets old time glamour on fire with a signature sensuality that has all things smoldering in her wake.
Frankie perfects the classic art of the strip tease with a personal and contemporary approach to burlesque, which has seen her gracing stages around the country with her innovative character based routines. Wild, inspired and criminally seductive.
RAVEN
Raven is one of Melbourne’s rare breeds of Boylesque performers. He has a background in classical dance and circus. His presence was first known when he walked on stage with his feathered eye lashes and his big black fans. His acts have a slight fetish element to them as well as beauty and grace. Don’t get to close or he may bite you
