For those that have come over the last month and enjoyed the venue, the music and the drinks this week Jack Rabbit Slims has programmed something from the north and brought it to the south.

With free entry until 9pm and $8 on a guest list after, come down for a $4 pizza which is served till 10pm (including but not limited to a Royal with Cheese). Did we mention the drink specials? No we didn't but that is because we can't....but you could find them somewhere on the internet.

This week musically we have programmed with as much TLC as possible.

Poco La Pax

Poco la Pax is a Melbourne electro-pop dance outfit that combines the best of live instrumentation and electronic sampling through dynamic live performances. Comprised of 7 members, each building and enhancing on the others talents. These are a group of Melbournians that are worth hearing, seeing and then supporting.

Poco La Pax hold residencies across the other side of town in Brunswick with residences at The Evelyn and The Night Cat. As such, it’s  not often that the south side gets to experience the joys of the north side which is whyJack Rabbit Slims is proud to present this musical ensemble to get the party started.

Nicolette Forte

To say that Miss Nicolette Forte’s singing ability is able to give you chills, is an understatement. Armed with a voice as emotive as it is beautiful, her acoustic sound is something else. Forte’s soulful contemplations on life and love ceaselessly astound all who bare witness to this majestic new composer. It is for this reason that she was given the task of opening the night. To set the stage and the scene, this troubadour will most certainly put you in the right frame of mind for the rest of the night.
