Their style is most easily described as a hot blend of jazz, swing, blues and boogie.

But that hardly does justice to their raw energy and enthusiasm – the kind of energy that will bring you to your feet and onto the dance floor before you even quite know what is happening.

This four-piece line up of sax, double bass, piano and drums, is not the kind of band to sit back on their laurels – all the performers play a vast array of instruments and are singers as well and whilst they work together to create the kind of musical harmony some bands can only dream of, every solo from any player is also pure delight.

Scarlett, a Melbourne based Burlesque performer, arrives through the untouchable and regal world of Classical Ballet – a captivating combination for audiences who seek a thrill in the beauty of dance and the tease of burlesque. Scarlett combines a love of performing, theatrics and costume to engage audiences in dance and tease at its best. Performances are heavily influenced by music that inspires and movement that enraptures. This is the ultimate form of seduction.

With over 15 years of performing history, Scarlett brings an elegant edge to classic and neo-burlesque. Her twinkle toes have graced stages in Opera Houses in Sydney, Europe and Asia to audiences both large and intimate. Scarlett’s burlesque debut in Melbourne was in 2010, but with performances across Melbourne and Sydney her career has taken flight. Scarlett now also dabbles in theatre performance amongst her weekly burlesque shows, as Forma in Atrocity – Burlesque du Grand Guignol. The year has been a mind field of pearls, feathers and tulle, with on going thanks to the incredible Burlesque community and Melbourne’s growing intrigue in and desire for intoxicating Burlesque.
