Lucy Fisher
Hailing from WA, edgy singer/songwriter and gutsy violinist, Lucy Fisher is on the front line of the next generation of original artists out of WA. As the head of her band, she displays the full force of her talents and the wealth of her experience as a virtuosic violinist, accomplished songwriter, and engaging vocalist. Her musical travels have taken her from a classical and jazz background in her home city of Perth, to the neo-African groove scene of the West Indies, to the buzzing rock vibes of Melbourne and many places in-between. With a six piece band comprising of some of Melbournes finest musicians behind her, including cello, keys, guitars and rhythm ,this show promises to deliver an evocative performance.
Lucy has extensive performance experience having played alongside esteemed musicians such as Tex Perkins, Nick Barker, Greg Arnold (Things of Stone and Wood), Rolf Harris, Christine Anu and performed in opening sets for artists such as Rod Stewart, Wendy Matthews , Michael Franti, and Pete Murray.
