MYSTERY MUFF
The Melbourne Underground Film Festival presents:
MYSTERY MUFF
Freedom of Speech Charity Fundraiser
Screenning: ???
The film for now is being kept secret. But we have this to say: it is an Australian Premiere, it is an amazing new piece of cinema, it is connected to Bruce LaBruce and our recent censorship crisis at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival and is spot on material for this event.
All proceeds will go towards paying the LA Zombie screening fine and to support MUFF in defending and raising important issues of censorship in Australia and overseas.

A sneak peek at one of the films that will be screened on the night:

Video Nasties: Moral Panic, Censorship & Videotape
Video Nasties a new documentary by director Jake West about the censorship of film in Britain. Featuring interviews with filmmakers Neil Marshall ('The Descent', 'Doomsday'), Christopher Smith ('Severance', 'Black Death') and MP Graham Bright. It follows the explosion of home video, the erosion of civil liberties, censorship, and hysteria in the media. Subjects that are as relevant now as they ever have been.
Please note that most tickets are for General Admission / standing room only - if you wish to book a table or a booth, please call the Red Bennies office to make a reservation on (03) 9826 2689
