A cabaret adventure through Paris via song, tap dance music, street art and burlesque… featuring Jazmin and Monsieur P and guest, Wendy Lee Taylor



Fresh from their successful ‘Autumn Leaves’ European tour (Paris Burlesque Festival, Caveau des Legends, Electro Swing Club) and Sydney shows (Camelot Lounge, Field Day, The Victoria Room) Australian cabaret/burlesque duo Jazmin & Monsieur P are coming to Melbourne.

The brainchild of Paris based Australian writer/producer Ruby Boukabou, in collaboration with Ben Palumbo, Parisian Rendez Vous recounts a semi-autobiographic series of theatrical adventures in the French capital by threading cabaret/burlesque numbers through swinging and toe-tapping tunes. From Edith Piaf to hot club jazz to tango. It’s a format that allows the Jazmin & Monsieur P duo to collaborate with local talent in performances that are fresh, dynamic and thrilling. The Melbourne Parisian Rendez Vous will feature a set by the delicious, Wendy Lee Taylor (resident singer at Paris’ famous Lido cabaret, currently home in Melbourne) and talented local musicians and tap dancers. For the past 10 years, Wendy Lee Taylor has been performing nightly at the internationally renowned French cabaret ‘Le Lido de Paris’ and will perform personalised renditions of French chanson and international jazz.
