Van Myer

Van Myer are a rock/soul band from Melbourne, Australia. Having evolved from countless house party jams in lounge rooms to the stages of popular Melbourne Venues, Van Myer are attracting interest from people across the board. Their eclectic individual music styles have come together to form a marriage of intricate guitar work, soaring synths, soulful vocals and driving beats. Their diversity is their strength, with songs that lean from alternative rock to dance soul and a little of everything in between. The result is a sound that is emotive, raw and passionate.

On stage Van Myers live show hark back to the classic performers of years gone by, with a fresh twist, bringing familiarity to the fore. As part of their flamboyant and eccentric live performance, vocalist Jack Byrnes leads the 5-piece effortlessly, but with dominance and precision. His live performances eerily send you back with visions of watching some of the greatest band leaders of our time. Chris O'Neill

Melbourne born singer/songwriter Chris O’Neill’s love affair with music began at age 5, after his parents overheard him working out the theme to his favourite cartoon on the piano. Fast forward to the present day and Chris is now an established multi-instrumentalist and composer, with a deep passion for storytelling and connecting to others through music.
