Roscoe James Irwin - The Hunting Road Tour
Meet Roscoe James Irwin, Indie Pop’s suspiciously energetic Mr. Nice Guy.

Best known for his work with The Cat Empire and The Bamboos, Roscoe has now firmly defined himself as much more than just a simple instrumentalist or singer/songwriter.
He has also recorded and performed as a multi-instrumentalist and sideman for Australian artists such as Paul Kelly, Washington, Brooke Fraser, Tinpan Orange, and international artists Harry Connick Jr, Brian May and Belle and Sebastian.
Heartbreak and three weeks in the Canadian Mountains, inspired the songs that eventually became Roscoe’s debut solo album “The Hunting Road”. An endearing blend of the energetic, charismatic and awkwardly sentimental style that is Roscoe James Irwin.
This August Roscoe will be nationally launching his debut album, “The Hunting Road”. Joined by some of Australia’s most sort-after musicians, on any given night you may see Ben Edgar (Washington), Lenny Grigoryan (Band of Brothers), Danny Farrugia (The Bamboos), Alex Burkoy (Tinpan Orange), Lance Ferguson (The Bamboos, Lanu), plus an array of Australian musical talents as special guests.
So come meet Roscoe James Irwin. He looks good in a tight suit and can run really fast (but chooses not to). He’s a danger to himself and others but your parents are gonna love him. But don’t call him nice to his face or he just might throw you out the nearest window just to prove a point. Although, he’s just as likely to buy you a whiskey and dry and ask you what your favourite Hank Williams song is.
