The closing night of the 2011 Australian Burlesque Festival, Cabaret Carnivale promises to go out with a bang! Comedic burlesque, carnival sideshow and death defying feats will thrill and amaze the audience.

Khandie Khisses (UK)
Treading the fine lines between crazy and cool, insane and sexy, Khandie has built her reputation on a heady mix of glamour and barnstorming performance ethic. Indeed, so far has word spread of her talents that she can already list appearances at Paris Burlesque festival, Zandra Rhodes’ Fashion & Textile Museum, 33 Portland Place and alongside The Puppini Sisters on her mesmerising CV.

Miss Glory Pearl (UK)
Part clown, part acrobat, part showgirl, Miss Glory Pearl creates genre-defying acts that blend classic burlesque, pole dance, static trapeze and aerial hoop with humour, sparkle, and a healthy dose of British self-deprecation.

The Astonishing Johnny Domino (WA)
The Astonishing Johnny Domino is the world’s leading exponent in physical culture. Schooled from a youthful age in the secrets ways and athletic arts of Ye Olde Time Strongmen, he will amaze you with his stunning displays of muscular power and legendary feats of strength.

Rod Lara (VIC)
Rod 'Malec' Lara has been performing for the past 10 years as actor, physical comedian, and eccentric dancer. Initially trained in the artistic skills of circus, Rods shows have slowly been evolving into a wordless amalgamation of comedy and dance, where his character Malec originated. His shows have been described as unique, quirky, energetic, hilarious and right-down funky!
Foxy La Femme (WA)
Foxy started dancing at the wee age of 3 all different styles including Jazz, Ballroom, Latin , Contemporary, bellydance and now burlesque! Having travelled and performed in Europe and London Foxy now currently teaches for premier Burlesque academy Sugar Blue Burlesque in Perth and has quite the signaiture acts for the far out , kooky and exotic of the east.

Mr Gorski (NSW)
Daniel Gorski, with a degree from Nica, has been performing from an early age; his early passion for the vaudeville/variety artist has driven Daniel to develop an alter ego named “Mr Gorski” a polish performance artist who mixes burlesque, comedy, variety, circus, and physical theatre.
The Strawberry Siren (VIC)
The Strawberry Siren Stands out with her good looks and peculiar but hypnotic brand of Burlesque tease." (Australian Stage) Miss Strawberry Siren has been dazzling Burlesque audiences both in Australia and overseas for the last 4 years. No stranger to the stage, Miss Strawberry has been performing since the tender age of 12 (yes.... that’s 16 years under lights!) Miss Strawberry draws on her extensive background in Circus, Theatre and Dance to provide a fresh and fancy take on Burlesque that she likes to call Cirlesque! Miss Strawberry Siren was awarded the title of "Entertainer of the Year!" at Miss Burlesque Australia 2010.

Luna Eclipse (SA)
Luna Eclipse is the co-director of the renown Peaches 'n' Gin Burlesque! She is known for her sass and pizazz, as well as twirling her tassels in unexpected places! Keep your eye on this performer as she twirls her way across the nation.
Betty Blood (VIC)
Betty Blood is the slightly twisted girl next door who frequently shimmys across melbourne burlesque stages teasing audiences with her unique brand of vaudevillian mischief. Betty's style of off beat neo-burlesque blends her variety of sensuous talents and love of vintage kitsch with odd ball antics and black comedy.
Skopalova (VIC)
Former rhythmic gymnast now burlesque sensation Skopalova has brought a whole new skill set to Melbourne’s burlesque scene combining gymnastics, dance, circus and tasteful tease. Whether she is balloon popping, ribbon twirling or hanging from the roof, Skopalova amazes audiences with her flexibility, skill and charm!
Taylor Grace (VIC)
Taylor Grace found her love for pole dancing late 2006 when she met Jacquie, co founder & owner of Bottoms Up Burlesque. With no dancing or gymnastics background she was surprisingly a natural with no fear! Only after committing to pole dancing early 2009 & taking up Burlesque with Willow J co founder & owner of Bottoms up Burlesque Taylor Grace took out the title of Miss Pole Dance Victoria 2010/2011 with her now famous 'Grease' routine. With teachers from the infamous Voodoo Trash Dolls there is never a dull moment !
Smokin McQueen (VIC)
Smokin McQueen has been performing his own unique, sexy and comedic version of boy burlesque for over two years. He has ‘taken it off’ in a multitude of burlesque and variety shows across the USA and Australia and was featured on Season 3 of ‘America’s Got Talent’. Smokin does a variety of boylesque and comedy routines ranging from tame to erotic. His performances are always an appreciated gift at any social gathering.
