Hailing from the dark, sultry streets of brooding Brisbane, The Better Than You Revue is Australia's newest and most dynamic burlesque troupe. Comprised of Queensland's finest burlesque and cabaret performers, this Revue delivers a high impact burlesque punch like no other. Tired of being taken so seriously, local burlesque bombshells Miss Alyssa Kitt, The Diamond Dahlia, Davina Mercy, La Viola Vixen and Mercy St Just and Miss Charne Louise, have created a cabaret that takes a tongue-in-cheek dig at today's more conventional burlesque performances, incorporating song, dance and dark humour in a high voltage show peppered with parody.

A mixture of old and new, contemporary and classic with a liberal dose of dark humour thrown in the mix, The Revue tips its hat to the traditional cabaret style of Berlin's 1930's Kit Kat Club and the notorious Cabaret, The Better Than You Revue is made up of Australia's most prominent and professional burlesque performers; a cast of unrivalled beauty and talent.

Charne Louise is known for her outstanding vocal/piano styling as musical director at Dracula's Cabaret Theatre restaurant, while her accomplishments include the title of Miss Va Va Voom Australia 2011 as part of Miss Pinup Australia, and a place as one of the all-singing, all dancing songstresses of the Gold Coasts very own Diamond Doll Diva's. Boasting an array of talents including trumpet, laser harp and a pinup modelling portfolio to make your mind blow, Charne is one of the original Gold Coast Bombshells.

ALYSSA KITT

The Golden girl with all the curves, Miss Alyssa Kitt, also known as the golden peacock, is well known throughout the burlesque community and cabaret circuit as an act of impeccable beauty and charisma. She is Australia's answer to burlesque star Dirty Martini and has been dubbed The Queen of the Curves.
