The Contortion and Hand-Balancing Spectacular!
Presented by THE 2011 MELBOURNE FRINGE FESTIVAL
Never before in Australia has there been a circus show consisting exclusively of contortion and hand-balancing, until now. In an Australian first, the Contortion and Hand-balancing spectacular will bring together some of the best talent from around Australia and region to perform to Melbourne audiences over 2 amazing nights this October.
Over 2 unique shows audiences will witness a variety of short performances including ground based contortion acts, aerial contortion acts, and hand-balancing. The performances will include local artist and contortionist Jacinta Rohan, Australian born Mim Conyers (who has performed overseas and was recently invited to the International Contortion Convention), South Australian based Christine Danton (a 66 year old Contortionist proving that age is no barrier) as well as special guest performer Teame Gebregziabher (Ethiopia) who performed recently with Cirque Mother Africa.

Short and sweet acts appear throughout the evening, complimenting the drinking hour and breaking up your club experience. Show structures and interval times may vary.
