ROSY RABBIT as ENVY

After almost a year Rosy Rabbit is returning to the stage in a galactic way! The stars have aligned to welcome her back... Forces of evil beware!

Australia’s darling of burlesque, Rosy Rabbit has spent the last 6 years forging her background in classical ballet and musical theatre into her very own take on bump 'n' grind! Burlesque has become an unrivaled outlet for her creative passions including performance, costume design and event production. As co-founder and producer of the Australian Burlesque Festival Rosy is passionate about building and uniting the community and embracing the many facets of this timeless and ever-changing art of tease and sensuality.

A shining star in the burlesque revival Rosy has performed at many of Australia’s premier burlesque and subculture events, music festivals and regular showcases. She also toured North America and Canada in 2009 and was selected to perform at the 2010 London Burlesque Week.

BECKY LOU as GLUTTONY

Becky Lou began her career with Perth's Sugar Blue Burlesque, winning fans with her comical routines, silent film face and killer curves. Now in Melbourne, she continues to purvey her favourite things - sparkles, giggles and partial nudity.

Recently won Miss Burlesque Tasmania and Miss Pin-up for Miss Burlesque Grand Final 2010.

DOLORES DAIQUIRI as LUST

Dolores Daiquiri is co-producer and partner as Shimmy Shake launches in Melbourne. She comes with a wealth of experience as founding member of Australia’s premier burlesque troupe Hi Ball Burlesque who has been at the forefront of the burlesque revival since 2002. As a distinguished member of the first burlesque troupe in Australia Dolores has performed at an extensive range of events and shows, captivating audiences with her glamorous brand of classic vintage-flavoured tease!

In addition to performing Dolores has created and produced a vast array of successful shows and events with Hi Ball Burlesque including Melbourne’s hugely successful regular burlesque revue ‘Red Door Burlesque’. Dolores is co-producer of the Australia’s First Annual Burlesque Festival which achieved sell-out success in its debut year, a testament to an established network in the Australian arts community.

VESPER WHITE as WRATH

As a young pioneer in the creative arts, Vesper White has laid siege to hearts and minds all around Australia for the past three years. Best loved for her darkly alluring burlesque acts, Vesper has no fear in exploring everything from the traditional and historical, to the alternative, the horrifying and that based in fetish.

The strength of her stage presence is rare in a creature so young; she possesses the ability to hold an audience quietly captive before drawing a subsequent response of inimitable rapture. White is known for her powerful, enchanting eyes, cheeky smile, an energy that has been likened to Bettie Page, and a hip-shake reminiscent of the Chicago State Fair exotics. As a well-read and researched creative type on all things artistic and performative, Vesper carries herself with a professionalism that exists only in seasoned entertainers. She is currently creative director of Gorelesque Productions and in-house producer at Red Bennies.

KERRY X as SLOTH

Kerryx is a sizzling and sensual bombshell waiting to be uncovered (literally!). Her style of Burlesque Noir has an alluring and sensual flair that will leave hearts pumping, pulses racing and imaginations running wild. Join Kerryx as she takes you on a journey through the darker side of seduction.

With inspirations ranging from bellydance through to both classic and modern burlesque, she is known for her smoldering performances with a touch of gothic enchantment. Kerryx will leave audiences enthralled and begging for more...

EVIE RED as GREED

Born formally as Evelyn Rouge, to a couple of Parisian paupers this small time country girl has evolved into a burlesque performer. Now known as Evie Red, she is an actress, ballerina, storyteller and dancer. This is one hoochie coochie, hotsy-totsy sugar mama!

Channelling the vintage glamour of past icons such as Josephine Baker, Red exudes opulence, style and grace peppered with some frantic crazy dancing!

Classically trained as a Cecchitti ballet dancer, Evie Red has performed at many private and public events as both a soloist and troupe. Most notably performances include Monties Dames at Monties and as a Majestic Nymph at Red Bennies for the NYE2011 Dionysia Show.

CLEAVE and DALY as VANITY

Jess Daly is Melbourne based, globe trotting dancer, performance artist and costume designer, known for her outrageous wearable-art inspired costumes, obsession with big hair and wild dance moves. This glamazon divides her time between designing for theatre, film and dance, and creating visually stunning and subversive performance work. As one half of the infamous "V Dentatas" dance duo, she has been seen thrashing about in wild displays of conceptual abandon in collaboration with Australian and international bands and DJs at major music festivals Glastonbury, Lovebox, Golden Plains and the Big Day Out.

Early 2011 saw Jess perform for Amanda Palmer at the Forum, followed by an epic project for Canadian electro queen PEACHES, as the V Dentatas toured the east coast of Australia dancing on her summer festival DJ Tour, as well as Jess designing and making the “BARBIE BOOB CLUSTER”
